SYNOPSIS
Nicolas de Barry is a master perfumer, one of the last in France. He perpetuates the perfumer tradition in his workshop, far from the industry of fragrance and the mass retailing of bottles with flashy marketing. He is constantly searching for rare essences, new bouquets and hidden aromas as he assembles his perfumes using ancestral techniques to the greatest pleasure of his clients, who place orders from around the world. He also works at recreating famous queens' balm and inventing new fragrance with never-used before material. He opens the doors of his workshop to bid us enter his evanescent universe and share the secrets of a lost tradition, a disappearing expertise, a universal patrimony that must be protected.
