SYNOPSIS
In Colombia, after the signing of the Peace Agreements, the violence of the conflict is still visible on the faces and bodies of the surviving victims. Margarita repairs the broken faces of this tragedy with prostheses. From her laboratory, we unravel 3 reconstruction stories around the loss of an eye. At the same time, Patricia restores holy images in Popayan. While one repairs patients, the other restores religious statues in wood or plaster, symbolic bodies venerated by all in a very religious country. They work in the same way on different subjects. Between personal and collective wounds, reconstruction of the physical body and the social body, the film shows how much Colombia yearns for a more serene face.
