SYNOPSIS
Jean Maitron, spearhead of the workers' history, undertook a huge work in 1955: the biographical dictionary of the labor movement, commonly called Le Maitron, which is based on a new conception of social history narrated by workers' personal stories. The film tells this amazing collective work and its creator, through the testimonies of his successors and archive footage.
