SYNOPSIS
About thirty years ago, diver Henri Cosquer discovered in the Massif des Calanques an outstanding location, two thirds underwater, which was about to call the territory's archaeological findings into question: a cave with extremely well preserved paintings made during the Palaeolithic era.
Along with the first prehistorian team taking care of the location, we are going back in time to unravel the mysteries of the first hunters-gatherers of the territory. But do we have enough time to study their sacred art and their lifestyle? While the new team is taking over offshore the scientific missions, in Marseille we are already creating a reproduction to save the secret treasures and share with the public our knowledge about the fragile location, threatened by the rising water.
