SYNOPSIS
Luis Sepuldeva’s world was turned upside down in Santiago, Chile on September 11th 1973, when General Pinochet took power during a coup d’état and President Salvador Allende committed suicide. Sepúlveda, a left-wing activist close to Allende, was taken prisoner and tortured. Tireless activist and globetrotter, Sepúlveda is above all an excellent story-teller. Two passions have ruled his life: his writing and the political causes he supports, including healing the scars left in South America due to military dictatorships, protecting the environment and native populations in South America, and fighting against racism in Europe…
