SYNOPSIS
An initiation series to discover world cultures. Each film centers around a 10 to 14-year-old child from a village community. Through their eyes and childlike words, they create a portrait of their village, their young friends and also the adults, the men and women who transmit their culture from generation to generation. A new way to voyage seen through the eyes of adolescents!

Easter Island (2020)
Located in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, Easter Island is considered the most isolated inhabited place on the planet. This is where Monserrat, a 15-year-old girl, lives. Throughout her daily life, she makes us discover the history of the first inhabitants of the island, holders of a unique and very rich culture. Even though surrounded by the Pacific Ocean, the Island is not far from the risks linked to pollution and climate change. Aware of this, Monserrat actively participates on its scale to make its civic contribution.
French Guiana (2020)
Marie-Laure lives in French Guiana, in a hamlet on the shore of the river between Suriname and France. She takes us into her daily life between river and forest. She also tells us about her expectations: what will be her future and that of Djuka culture, in a world that is changing very quickly?
Robinson Crusoe Island (2020)
It’s on Robinson Crusoe Island, off the coast of Chile, that we meet Tomas, 15, a young man curious about everything around him. Through Tomas' daily life, we discover his way of life, turned towards the sea. Like his father Mario, he would like to become a fisherman, but he knows that it is a difficult job. So he seriously considered leaving the island to go to the University located on the mainland more than 600 kilometers away.
Togo (2020)
Kouma Kounde is a small village surrounded by primary forest, on top of Togo's plateaux region. Its inhabitants are mainly Ewe, one of the 50 peoples of the country. This is where we follow Robert, a 15-year-old young man. He makes us discover the richness of its culture and the beauty of the place.
Vanuatu (2020)
In Vanuatu, on the island of Malicolo, in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, Chloé and her cousins share their daily life within the Lamap tribe. Living in a tribe means living in community, close to nature and its resources. It is in this environment and through the story of 12-year-old Chloé, that we discover how children grow up in a ni-van tribe.
Yukon (2020)
It’s in Dawson City in Canada's Far North that we follow Liam, 15, a descendant of the Yukon Indians. Through his daily life and his encounters, we discover the life of a teenager in a country where winter temperatures can reach - 50 degrees. Learn to ride a snowmobile in large Canadian spaces through extreme temperatures, street hockey and preparation for Christmas are on the program in Dawson City.
